This Privacy Policy explains how OG Software, a trading name of Original Goods LTD ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects information when you use OG Social, our social media scheduling service at https://postiz.og-software.com (the "Service"). Contact: contact@og-software.com.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: your name, email address and a hashed password, or the identity details returned by a login provider you choose.
- Connected social accounts: when you connect a channel (for example YouTube, Facebook, Instagram or TikTok) we receive and store the access and refresh tokens issued to us, plus your public profile details such as account name, ID, profile picture, and page or channel identifiers.
- Content you create: posts, captions, images, videos, schedules and comments you upload or write in the Service.
- Analytics from connected platforms: performance data (such as views, likes, reach and follower counts) that the platform returns for accounts you connect, shown to you inside the Service.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and basic logs needed to run and secure the Service.
2. How we use information
- To publish, schedule and manage posts on the channels you connect, only when you ask us to.
- To show you analytics for your connected channels.
- To operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve the Service, and to contact you about it.
We do not sell your data. We do not use data obtained from social platforms for advertising, and we do not transfer it to third parties except as needed to provide the Service, to comply with law, or with your consent.
3. Data from Google and YouTube
Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. The Service uses YouTube API Services; by using it you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. You can revoke our access at any time at https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions.
4. Data from Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and TikTok
Data we receive from Facebook, Instagram and TikTok is used only to provide the features you request (publishing, scheduling and analytics for your own accounts). You can remove our access at any time from the settings of the relevant platform (Facebook and Instagram: Settings → Business Integrations; TikTok: Settings → Security → Manage app permissions), or by disconnecting the channel in the Service.
5. Sharing
We share information only with: the social platforms you connect (to publish your content), infrastructure providers that host the Service, and authorities when legally required. Service providers act on our instructions.
6. Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. When you disconnect a channel, we delete its stored tokens. When you delete your account or ask us to delete your data, we delete your personal data and stored tokens within 30 days, except where we must keep information by law. See our data deletion page.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, but no system is completely secure.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your data, or to object to processing. Email contact@og-software.com to exercise these rights.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date.
